well this is my first attempt at scheduling a post so wish me luck

I enjoy joining in with Craftjuice Tuesday but Tuesday is quite a busy day so I'm hoping I can sort my post out on a Monday and schedule it - heres goes

something a bit different for the buffet table

chocolate !!

I am trying so hard not to eat chocolate during the week in an attempt to lose some weight

imagine my dismay when two card orders came through wanting a chocolate theme

the first one was for a Hersheys chocolate theme, as we're always conscious about copyright , we came up with the bar of chocolate design

fathers day

got a request from a customer for a card for her father in law who is a bricklayer

she wanted a card with that theme showing how he'd built a wall of love for his family

this is the design I came up with and I am really pleased with how it turned out

I couldnt' get over how much england stuff was in the shops already , its only going to get worse lol !!

as you know we always like to come up with new designs - we have lots of repeat customers so have to be able to offer something new
hubby likes making his football cards and I like to make the thank you teacher cards for the end of term so we've come up with these what do you think ??

craft juice Tuesday

well today is my birthday - 21 again I wish lol

so I thought I'd choose things with a birthday theme

and also this birthday cake topper - again by Pauline I think it is sooooooooooooooooooo cute and so much detail

I fancied a new pair of earrings to wear tomorrow so have just made these

anyone who knows me will tell you they are sooooooooooooo me lol

when I saw the coloured earring wires on ebay I just had to have them !!

been playing

sometimes I get an idea in my head that just has to be let out lol

this idea has been in my head for a while now but I haven't had time to play but today I did !!

my first 'big 'card

a while ago Paul decided that he wanted to start making 'big ' cards ( A3 folded in half ) I've always been a bit nervous of them so let him make them

but I've finally made my first one and am quite pleased with the result

Christmas already ???

I bought these card blanks a while back but just couldn't think what to do with them , I kept looking at them thinking it was such a waste so decided to have a play
I've come up with these two designs, mostly the same just with one subtle difference.
once I'd made them I realised I hadn't put happy christmas on them
do you think christmas cards have to have wording or do you think they're ok like this
also which design do you prefer ( hopefully you can see the difference ?? )
I'm thinking of selling these boxed ,maybe five in a box ??? no idea on price yet ( as you probably know thats the one bit I'm bad at lol )

My accidental card

now I know we all joke and say things accidently jumped into our shopping baskets and we just had to buy them but these stickers really did !!
I was in our local factory shop looking for bargains and came across some really cute little puppy and kittens stickers at a bargain price, so they went into my basket, I then looked at some puffy stickers with cute little animals on them , after studying for a while and umming and aarhing like you do I decided not to buy them, I carried on shopping but somehow when I got to the tills the puffy stickers were in my basket lol I didn't realise until it was too late so didn't like to say I didn't want them
when I got home I had a proper look at them and found two sheets of cute little animal ones , a sheet of princess girly ones and a sheet of funny cartoony monster ones - all for 99p
so I make this 'accidental ' card with them

pets on cards

We had an order for some cards from a customer who wanted one with fancy goldfish on it and one with a giant land snail. We are always wary of copyright issues so needed some pictures we could use without having to worry. After a while of searching I came across this forum and put out a plea on the pets thread. By that night I had some photos that I could use thanks to two lovely people who were willing to help me.

Heres the results. The customer is happy and we were able to make our cards without having to worry , so thanks again to the two people who helped us out .

Craft juice Tuesday

well another weeks gone !! and its Craft juice Tuesday again

this week I'm going to choose some earrings as I love earrings especially novelty ones

so these just had to be my first choice

This week I've chosen a really cute little denim apron ( I love anything denim ) which has lovely cupcakes on it and can be personalised with a name.

Craftjuice Tuesday

well I only discovered craftjuice this week so really have no idea what I'm doing so bear with me.

I'll start off today with just one item to make sure it all works and I'm doing it right , but we all have to start somewhere don't we.

I've chosen something by swirlyarts as firstly I think these envelopes are brilliant and secondly she wrote such a great tutorial about starting off with craftjuice

well hopefully thats the writing bit done , just got to try and add the photo now

the car, lizard and frog are all magnets which can be removed and stuck on a fridge or similar surface.

with an idea - do you think it works ?? the square that makes up the house is a photo frame that can be taken off the house and put on a fridge or other magnetic surface - if you buy the card you can insert a photo of your choice before giving it to the recipient
